History of Watermark Conference

Watermark Conference is the only conference on security printing which is held in Russia.

The conference is held every two years.

Watermark Conference takes place in the most interesting cities of Russia.

The first Watermark Conference took place in 2005 in St. Petersburg, the north capital of Russia. About 200 specialists from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Great Britain, Germany, South Africa, Egypt, Indonesia and other countries participated in it, including the representatives of central and national banks.

The second Watermark Conference was held in June 2007 in the ancient Russian town Suzdal. 230 delegates from more than 20 countries participated in it.

Kazan, the city with a thousand-year-history, became the venue for the third Watermark Conference which was held in 2009. 236 delegates from 25 countries attended this conference.
